Academic Stress in Online Higher Education

With the unprecedented impacts of COVID-19 outbreak, higher education institutions have faced a number challenges, one which is transition to online education. University students experienced varying levels stress as largest group affected by this transition. The perceived level academic university in new system has become significant for improvement learning at tertiary level. Therefore, study aimed measure among including components pressures perform, perceptions workload, self-perceptions, and time restraints during learning. In order students, quantitative research design was adopted through gathering statistical data from 147 undergraduate studying different departments Turkey utilizing “The Perception Academic Stress Scale” results quantitatively designed revealed that found neutral general; regarding "Pressures Perform" high, “Perceptions Workload”, "Academic Self-Perceptions" "Time Restraints" neutral. Some statistically differences were also detected relation variables gender, age (Gen X vs Gen Y), year study, satisfaction with home environments.
